DIY Hanging Lamps Using Wine Bottles

If you have some old wine bottles and you absolutely love doing DIY projects, then you will like this project from SRG CRAFTS on Youtube. It’s a simple project that can turn your old wine bottles into stunning hanging lamps for your space. It’s chic, super easy to make, and will definitely add some character to your house. Materials:
- old wine bottles
- jute threads
- white glue
- bulbs
- bulb holders
- glue gun
- concealed black wire
- electrical tape
- glass cutter
- scissors
- cutting plier
- wooden board
Directions:
Step 1
First, remove the bottom of the wine bottles by cutting them, then sand the edges down. Next, put a dot of glue on the top of the bottle, just below the rim, then attach one end of the jute thread. After this, brush some white glue on the bottle, then wrap the jute thread around nicely. Do this till you cover half of the bottle with the thread, then continue covering the bottom of the bottle with the jute thread. (Don’t forget to secure the ends of the thread with hot glue.)

Step 2
Next, get your black wire and start attaching it to the bulb holder, then put it inside the bottle. Cut the wire to your desired length, then attach it to the wooden board. After you attached the wire, tie some jute thread on the wire and secure it with super glue and electrical tape. This will ensure that the light bottles will not fall off. After this, attach the ends of the wire to one another and secure it with electrical tape. Put the light bulbs, then place them in your desired area. Your hanging lamps are now finished.
