Are you looking for a weekend DIY project? Try making this faux garden globe from Jennifer Priest on Youtube. This DIY is the perfect decor to add to your garden. It’s super easy to make and only needs a few materials from the Dollar Store. You can also make this with your friends; I’m sure you will all have a fun time making this. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions. All thanks to Jennifer Priest for this wonderful DIY project.

Materials:

  • smooth foam ball
  • acrylic craft paint
  • hot glue or clear construction adhesive
  • foam paintbrush
  • flat bottom glass marbles

Directions:

Step 1

To start, paint the smooth ball foam with blue acrylic paint and let it dry completely. Once it dries, start attaching the glass marbles. Glue the flat bottom marbles into the foam ball using hot glue (it’s up to you how you will layer the marbles, just make sure there’s no gap in between each piece.)

Step 2

You can make as many as you like. Once you finish attaching the marbles, let them set. After this, place them in your garden or anywhere you like as a piece of decoration.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
