Tomato plants can be difficult to grow, but also one of the easiest fruits to grow in just about any warm area. I’ve been learning new tricks to help my tomato plants grow and this solution has been one of the best tricks to keeping my tomato plants healthy. I use this solution on my plants monthly and it has worked wonders. Gary Pilarchik (The Rusted Garden) really nailed it with this three-ingredient solution to prevent fungus. Using calcium is a great way to nourish tomato plants or other plants in your garden.
For exact measurements of the materials, check out the video down below.
Bake your eggshells in the oven at 175 degrees for about 30 minutes. This will dry out the eggshells. Using the eggshells will increase the calcium in your soil. Tomato plants need calcium regularly. Make sure to break the eggshells up so they cover up a larger surface area.

Place the eggshells into a blender and shred them up completely so they are a water-soluble consistency.
Take one tablespoon of shredded eggshell, one tablespoon of white vinegar and combine it. This should start to react together and foam up. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes to allow the calcium to separate from the eggshell.

Once the eggshell and the vinegar have pretty much stopped bubbling, pour the mixture into a gallon of water.
