I’m always on the hunt for new ways to decorate my home on a budget. Curtains are one of those home items that just seem so unnecessarily expensive. This amazing DIY by DaBoss Ella is a game-changer. I will never buy traditional curtains for my small windows again. These DIY pillowcase curtains are inexpensive and look great. Not to mention, you can buy pillowcases in all colors, so you can be sure to find a set you like. If you buy your materials for this DIY from the dollar tree, it will cost you no more than $4. And chances are you already have some pillow cases lying around that you don’t use, so that would take your total cost down to $2. These are perfect for any smaller window, particularly a bathroom, kitchen, or dorm room.
Attach the curtain rod to the wall using your screwdriver. You can get a screwdriver at the dollar tree for $1. You can get a curtain rod kit at the Dollar tree as ell for $1.
Cut slits in your pillowcases to put them on the curtain rod. You will want to turn the pillowcase inside out to cut the slits. Cut directly below the seam on the bottom of the pillowcase.
