Easy Raised Dog Wash Station Materials

  • 6 – 10 ft 2 x 4 wood
  • stock tank – 4 x 2 x 1
  • shower head
  • shower arm
  • non-slip tape
  • garden hose adapter – 3/4 inch FH x 1/2 inch FIP
  • 2 1/2″ wood screws
  • silicon
  • teflon tape

 

 

How to Make Dog Wash Station

Step 1:

Cut list

  • 2 pieces of 2 x 4 – 43″ back legs
  • 2 pieces of 2 x 4 – 30″ front legs
  • 4 pieces of 2 x 4 – 48″ 2 back pieces, 2 front pieces
  • 6 pieces of 2 x 4 – 16″ 2 top side pieces, 2 bottom side pieces, 2 middle supports

Step 2:

Attach the middle top and bottom pieces between two front legs, then a middle piece between two back legs. Make sure the middle pieces have the same height.

Step 3:

Connect the front and back with the top sides and bottom sides. Next, add the middle supports on the middle top. Cut a 2 x 4 the same length as your dog washer and attach it to the back top legs.

Step 4:

Drill a couple of small holes in the bottom of the tank for drainage. Place the tank on the stand. Tape some long silicone strips on the bottom of the tank. Make sure not to cover the holes.

Step 5:

Make a hole in the back top for the pipe for the shower head. Insert the pipe, then attach the adapter and shower head using teflon tape. Attach the hose.
