Easy DIY Corner Bookmark Materials

  • 3 pieces of 12 cm by 12 cm cotton fabric (one for the front part and two for the back part)
  • 3 pieces of 10 cm by 10 cm iron-on fabric stabilizer

How to Make a DIY Corner Bookmark

Step 1:

Place your cotton fabrics right side down then place the iron on the fabric stabilizers on top. Make sure it is centered. Press with an iron.

Step 2:

Get the front fabric and fold it in half diagonally. Sew on the long side with a 3mm seam allowance.

Step 3:

Get one back fabric and place it right side up. Place the triangle on top, lining the 90-degree corner to the upper left corner of the back fabric. Next, place the other back fabric on top, right side down. Make a mark on the center on the right side.

Step 4:

Sew them together all the way around the edges with a 1 cm seam allowance leaving a small opening on the marked side. Trim the corners.

Step 5:

Fold the seam allowances flat, then flip it right side out from the opening.

Step 6:

Sew the sides of the back fabric with a 3 mm seam allowance.
