My family loves music, and we play different genres every day. We always gather in our living room and just sing or dance together. It’s just a fun way to relax and be present. Since this place is so special to us, I wanted to redecorate it and put something on our blank wall. I searched online and found this awesome DIY. Everyone loved the idea and we made it right away!
Tiktoker @rudy_willingham shared a clip where he’s arranging his album covers on the wall with the caption saying, “Time to boogie.”
The video started with the caption, “making a giant clock out of album covers.” The center of the clock, which has the hour hand and minute hand, is already attached to the wooden wall.
He then used the album covers for each hour number. But wait, he didn’t just use any albums. He chose the “1” album by Beatles for hour 1, “All Eyez on Me” by 2Pac for hour 2, “Seven Separate Fools” for hour 3, “Reach Out” by Four Tops for hour 4, “Jackson 5: The Ultimate Collection” for hour 5, and “Six Pack” by Black Flag for hour 6. So basically, he chose albums that have the number of the specific hour on their cover.
Isn’t that genius? It’s definitely one of the best DIY decor I have ever seen in a while. When you do this, make sure to consider the size of the covers and their spacing before you put them on the wall. You want to space them evenly, so they look clean and organized.
We did the same thing in our living room, and my family loved it so much. Of course, you can change the album covers depending on what you like. We also added lighting for each album, so it will look gorgeous at night. It’s definitely our favorite decoration in our house!
