I come from a long line of quilters and the buck stopped with ME! Making quilts has always intimidated me because it looked too tedious and time consuming. Well, now that I’ve grow up…just a little bit, and started running across these easy quilt tutorials, I decided to give it a shot! The best thing for me was to start small and easy, after all, that’s how you get there! Rome wasn’t built in a day, right?
After following this tutorial, step by step, I began to get excited to see my results! This wasn’t hard, like I had imagined all those years! I can’t tell you how excited I was when I saw it beginning to come together! My mother is beyond excited that I was actually making my first quilt! I think she had all but given up that I would ever be interested in doing this. I just love shocking people, don’t you?
Now I can say that I have actually made a beautiful quilt from start to finish! Thanks to Marzipan for her fabulous instructions (and my determination)!
