Directions:
Prepare all the needed materials.
Cut the scrap fabric following the pattern into 2 pieces. If your scrap fabric is lightweight, it is best to add lightweight interfacing to the wrong sides.
Take the 2 pieces of fabric and place them right sides together. Then, put the fabrics on the sewing machine and stitch around the fabrics using a ¼ seam allowance, and leaving a 1-inch gap on one long side.
Once you have finished stitching, clip off the corners to quickly turn the fabric the right way. Also, clip into the corners while not going through the stitching line.
Then, using a tube turner, turn the fabric, project the right side out, and push out the fabric’s corners.
Next, use the iron to neatly press the fabric flat and press the raw edges of the gap to the inside. Fold down the top tab of the fabric to create the keyring loop. Pin in place. Fold the bottom end of the fabric up to two inches to create the holder. Pin or press it in place.
Topstitch the whole fabric, starting at the bottom corner, up to one side, and then across the keyring tab at the bottom. Make sure to backstitch across the tab to secure it in place.
Lastly, insert the keyring or clip keyring into the loop, and you’re done!
