When I watched this tutorial I didn’t have the volume on because it’s not in english, but it’s easy to see exactly what she does and I was surprised at how she transformed this hideous chair!  Now it gets to have a new life and gets saved from going to the dump! I just love rescuing people’s junk!  Also, it’s easy to pick up a cheap chair at a thrift store and make it something beautiful!

I’ve painted designs on quite a few chairs and they’ve all turned out absolutely stunning.  I love repurposing people’s rejections into something exquisite.  It makes me want to say “nana nana boo boo, look what I did to your old chair!”  It gives me a real sense of accomplishment.  I always think I’m gonna sell the chairs I paint, but they turn out so cool that I can’t let them go!

I live in a city that is all about art and music…it’s a colorful city!  There are so many fabulous artists here and we all have our own style.  I have a great appreciation for all kinds of different art.

I posted this chair on this site a while back and I love bright colored art!  http://diyjoy.com/diy-can-we-say-eas…nderland-chair ‎?utm_content=video&utm_termoriginal=&utm_campaign=jw=&utm_source=countrycrafts .  I’ve painted several chairs with a similar style to this and it really makes a room pop!

Watch her tutorial and see what she does to change this chair!  Make sure to SHARE this with your friends on Facebook too!

Since I lover experiments, Iโ€™ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
