Braised pork is a common dish at dinner parties and get-togethers. I just love how tasty and delicate this dish is. It usually leaves my guests feeling satisfied and sometimes asking for more. I’ve been trying to find the best and simplest recipes these days because I’m exploring. I know that braised pork briskets are sometimes considered difficult to cook, but once you begin, you’ll realize it’s really just straightforward. This tutorial from Recipes on Youtube is a very helpful guide because it only gives you 6 step! The most essential part of the recipe is the crockpot because it just helps in making the meat tender and moist, enhancing its flavors. Try this recipe and find out for yourself.

  • 2 lbs pork brisket cubed
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 5 oz red onion, diced
  • 3 oz celery, chopped
  • 2 oz carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 3 cups beef stock
  • 1 cup red wine
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • Salt & ground black pepper

In a large skillet, heat the oil. Cook the meat in a hot skillet until well-browned on both sides. Make a space for it. Remove any extra fat by pouring it out. In the same skillet, cook the onion and thyme until transparent.

For a few minutes, deglaze with red wine and reduce.

Simmer for two minutes with some beef stock. Continue cooking until the meat is fork-tender, then add some carrots and celery.

Serve over rice or noodles and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and chopped sage leaves, if desired. Enjoy your dinner with a sprinkle of salt and pepper on top, if you’d like.

Also, if you’re feeling generous, you can organize a get-together with your friends and colleagues and this time you can make a cook a larger serving of the brisket. I’m sure, like everyone else, your guests would appreciate this dish. And do I have to repeat that the recipe can be done in 6 steps?
