Single crochet in next two single crochet, decrease, repeat for six times (18). Single crochet in the next single crochet, decrease, repeat for six times (12).

Single crochet in every single crochet around; Back of the loop only. Fasten off the excess yarn and add the Poly-fil stuffing.
Hands:

Mouth:

Securely sew the hands on both sides of the baby chicken’s body with a needle. Poke excess yarns through and under the bottom of the baby chicken. Find the center of the baby chicken’s face and sew on the mouth. Poke the excess yarn through and under the bottom of the baby chicken. Tightly tie the excess yarns, insert them into a needle and poke through the back body of the chicken. Then, cut. Attach both safety button eyes and make your baby chicken blush by adding some pink soft pastel dust.
