If you are new to using this type of paper, this crepe paper flowers tutorial is for you. In this project, you will learn how to work with crepe paper and create beautiful florals. Unlike cardstock, which is flat and rigid, this type is stretchy and moldable, almost similar to fabric, making it the perfect material for DIY flowers. Take note that there are different types of crepe paper. For this project, I used Italian crepe paper. Regular crepe paper is usually about 30-40 gsm, while this type ranges from 60-180 gsm, which means it doesn’t tear easily.

This flower craft may not look easy, but trust me, it is. You’ll be surprised at how quick it is to make one. As mentioned, there is no gluing involved, yes, that’s right! This is one of those no glue gun paper flowers. You’ll only need a thread for this project, but if you are planning to use it for decoration or paper flower bouquet, you might need a glue gun.
