Materials:

  • Plastic bags
  • Cutter
  • Socks
  • Garbage bag
  • Packing tape

  • Pool noodle

Directions:

Tip#1

Fold your clothes nicely, then stack them, and put them in a plastic bag. Use a vacuum to remove all of the air from the plastic before you put them in the box.

Tip#2

If you only have an ordinary box without a handle, you can easily make one on them with this trick. Using a cutter, cut a large letter “T” on each side of the box, then push each side of the vertical cut inside the box, and insert your hands there when you hold the box.

Tip#3

Save on using a lot of paper when you’re packing fragile stuff or glassware. Put your wine glass upside down on a flat surface, then insert the sock until the end reaches the base of the glass, turn the glass right side up, and push the excess sock inside before placing them inside the box.

Tip#4

No need to remove your clothes from their hangers, just insert them in a garbage bag, then gather the ends at the neck of the hangers, and tie them securely.

Tip#4

When putting a tape in your boxes, make sure to fold the ends so that you can find and peel them off easily.

Tip#5

Pack your plates and bowls safely by placing a coffee filter in between each piece before packing them inside the box.

Tip#6

Instead of packing your seasoning or condiment jars and pots separately, place the jars inside those pots and arrange them in a single layer before covering them with the lid. Place the pots in the box.

Tip#7

Protect your mirrors or picture frames with a pool noodle. Cut the pool noodle into four with their ends slanted, then cut a slit in the middle, and insert it on all four sides of a mirror or frame.
