One of my go-to salad recipes, this classic Waldorf salad from Susu’s Cookbook on Youtube – is absolutely divine. The clashing flavors and texture of this salad recipe make it truly one of a kind. It’s my favorite salad of all time, and I’m sure yours, too, once you taste this recipe. And did I mention it’s super easy to make? Watch the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to make this.
Ingredients:
- 2 tart apples, diced
- 2 sticks of celery, diced
- 1 cup of red seedless grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup of toasted walnuts (or pecan nuts, chopped)
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Step 1
Start by dicing 2 sticks of celery and 2 tart apples, cut the grapes in halves, and juice half a lemon. Transfer the apples into a large bowl and sprinkle 1 tbsp sugar and 2 tsp lemon. Toss them, making sure the apples are fully coated. Next, heat a small pan, then lightly roast half a cup of roughly chopped walnuts for 2 minutes. Add the toasted walnuts to the apple mixture followed by the diced celery and halved grapes. Toss everything to combine.

Step 2
In a mixing jug, add 1/4 cup mayonnaise and 1/4 cup Greek yogurt. Whisk with a handheld mixer until smooth and fully blended. Then, sprinkle 1/2 tsp salt over the fruit mixture, then add in the whisked yogurt mixture. Fold everything until all ingredients are combined. Chill it for at least an hour before serving.
