Saint Valentine’s Day is upon us again and it’s chocolate covered strawberry time. There are many varieties out there and to be honest, the store bought kind are pretty good too, but if you really want something amazing try these Marbelized White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, if wowing your Valentine is important to you, lol. When I saw this recipe on Youtube I couldn’t believe the wow factor of these strawberries and when I read the recipe I realized they were going to be delicious too. The ingredients and instructions were super simple to follow:

Ingredients:

  • Cherries (fresh or Maraschino in a jar)
  • Chocolate
  • Hershey’s Kisses
  • Sliced Almonds
  • Section of Wax or Parchment Paper
  • Candy Sprinkles (for the mice’s eyes and nose)

Directions:

Gather your ingredients.

You then melt your little bowl of the chocolate of your choice and microwave till melted, then dip your cherries into the chocolate covering each one fully.

Then move your dipped cherry to your parchment paper and add a Hershey’s Kiss Chocolate Candy for the mouse’s head, then add 2 almond slivers making the mouse’s ears, then add your little cady ball sprinkles to the Hershey’s Kiss head to make eyes and a cute nose for your Valentine’s Day Chocolate Covered Cherry Mouse (you can use a dot of melted white chocolate applied with a toothpick if you do not have candy sprinkles).

These mice are so cute and perfect for a nice Valentine’s Day Gift. I ended up making 3 dozen for my daughter’s teachers and they really were very impressed.
