26. Pumpkin Candle Holder
I couldn’t decide on an Autumn centerpiece for my Thanksgiving dinner and I saw this idea for pumpkin wreaths used as candle holders and knew I had an impressive formula to make the table really pop. I used real pumpkins because I had so many in my Fall display, but artificial will work fine. Joined some beautiful Fall toned flowers around the base with my hot glue gun and they looked fabulous. My inlaws thought I bought them from a florist. All for under $5.00. A cheap but awesome idea that should be part your fall table decor!
27. DIY Owl Tree
If your kids get anxious on rainy Autumn days, this is an excellent group project. We got an old wooden box out of the garage, found a tree branch we liked and made these lovely little owls to represent each family member. The kids had been restless all day and this leveled out their mood and kept them amused for hours. Grandma loved this cute craft idea.
28. Rustic Fall Centerpiece
This Fall centerpiece is a super little DIY project anyone can do on a limited budget. I found some jars and vases that were not essential to my life while cleaning out the cabinets and I found this cute centerpiece idea. Used some old burlap scraps leftover from another project, used a stencil for a personalized touch. I cut leaves from an old paper bag, secured them with twine and threw some acorns around the edges for a beautiful Autumn effect. It looked fantastic and I cleaned out my cabinets at the same time.
29. Hang Sunflowers Around The House
Brighten your porch this fall season with beautiful sunflowers. I had a beautiful Autumn display that needed some color to really make it pop so I got some styrofoam balls and sunflowers from Michael’s and used my glue gun to attach them. Then attached a string and hung them all around the back windows and door overlooking my Fall display. This amazing color pop makes everyone happy.
30. Repurposed Cabinet Fall Decor
My kids love my handwriting so what better way to send them loving messages than simple chalkboard statements. I repurposed some old cabinet doors adding chalkboard at the center of the frames and drilled some holes for hanging and I can keep everyone in this house posted on what’s for dinner to household chores. You can add garland around the cabinet frame to suit any season. I added a rustic branch, leaf and berry garland for my rustic Fall display but Christmas lights look great also. The repurposed cabinet door chalkboards are perfect year round.
