Whenever I need a budget-friendly appetizer to serve a crowd – this bacon-wrapped asparagus is my go-to recipe. You’ll only need a few ingredients for this dish, and you might already have them in your kitchen. Once you try this recipe, you’ll never go back to your usual party appetizer, I swear. Learn how to make it by watching the video below for the step by step instructions, or continue reading down for the complete written recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of fresh thick asparagus
  • 1 lb center cut bacon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • olive oil spray (optional)

Directions:

Step 1

To start, remove the ends of the asparagus. Once done, pick one asparagus and start to wrap a piece of bacon tightly onto it. Just grab an end and pinch it with your thumb, then start wrapping the asparagus up to the other end. Set it aside. Repeat this until you finished wrapping all the asparagus with bacon.

Step 2

After you’re done wrapping, season the asparagus with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder on each side. Once done, place the asparagus in the air fryer (you can cook them in batches if they don’t all fit in the air fryer), then turn it to 390 degrees and cook for ten minutes, flipping them on the other side on the 6-minute time stamp. Serve and enjoy!
