Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons of butter (cut into cubes)
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet chili paste
  • lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1:

Start by placing your salmon in a large sheet of aluminum foil and putting your asparagus beside your salmon. Place them in a large baking pan, then preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2:

Season them with salt and pepper. Next, put the butter cubes on top of the butter and asparagus. Set them aside.

Step 3:

Make the sauce. In a large bowl, add 4 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of chicken broth, and 1 tablespoon of sweet chili paste. Mix everything until well combined.

Step 4:

Pour the sauce over the salmon and asparagus. After that, cover them with the foil and fold them into packs.

Step 5:

Place the salmon inside the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes. After your salmon has baked for 15 minutes, you can take them out, unfold the foil, then put your oven in the broil setting for 5 minutes. This will give your salmon a nice golden-brown color. Once done, you can eat directly from the foil or you can transfer it to a plate. Enjoy!
