Are you a sucker for apple pie? If so, this is going to be your new favorite recipe. These biscuit apple pies require very few ingredients and are super delicious. They are similar to an apple fritter but fluffier, so they make a perfect breakfast treat. These would be great for any family gathering or picnic as well. Rosie Cooks really nailed it with this recipe.

Ingredients Needed For This Recipe:

  • Biscuits
  • Apple Pie Filling
  • Egg’

Directions:

Step One

Cut up the apples in the apple pie filling into smaller pieces.

Step Two

Dust your cutting board lightly with flour so the biscuits don’t stick to the cutting board. Open your can of biscuits and take them out.

Step Three

Lightly flour one biscuit and then roll it out with a flour-dusted rolling pin using a press and roll method. Flip it over a few times as you do this. Roll it out to about the size of a small tortilla.

Step Four

Spoon the apple pie filling into the biscuit dough you just rolled out. Fold the dough over itself on top of the filling, then press the edges together.

Step Five

Crack an egg into a bowl, then mix it to use as an egg wash. Using a brush, cover the pies in a thin coating of egg wash.

Step Six

Place the pies on a baking sheet and place them into the oven at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Check them while they are in the oven to make sure they don’t need to be flipped or more time.
