I always thought that it was not possible to make a delicious steak in your air fryer until I saw this video recipe on YouTube. It is so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Take note that the cooking time may vary depending on your preferred doneness, the thickness of the steak, and the air fryer you are using, so adjust accordingly.

Easy Air Fryer Steak Ingredients

  • ribeye steak
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • A1 sauce
  • Montreal steak seasoning
  • butter
  • fresh parsley (chopped)
  • salt and pepper

For the steak gravy:

  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley

Note: let your steak sit on the counter for 20 minutes to come to room temperature

How to Make Air Fryer Steak

Step 1:

Start by preheating your air fryer at 400F for at least 6 minutes.

Step 2:

Drizzle olive oil on the steak and brush on all sides. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3:

On a plate, add A1 sauce and Montreal steak seasoning. Add your steak and rub the sauce. Add more steak seasoning on top. Flip it over and do the same to the other side. Make sure to cover the sides as well.

Step 4:

Grease your air fryer with olive oil, then place your seasoned steak. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket.

Step 5:

For medium well to well done: cook on one side at 400F for 8 minutes. After that, flip the steak and spray more olive oil if preferred. Air fry at 400F for another 7 minutes.

For medium rare to medium: cook on one side at 400F for 8 minutes, flip, then cook for another 5 minutes at 400F.

Note: The thickness of your steak and the air fryer you are using can make a difference in the cooking time.

Step 6:

After cooking, transfer your steak to a cutting board. Let it rest for at least 5 minutes. Allowing it to rest will lock in the flavors and create a succulent piece of meat. While they are cooling, add a slice of butter on top and garnish with chopped parsley.
