Cinnamon rolls are one of the most loved pastries around the world. It is so popular that there are different versions of this recipe that you can find online. I wanted to bake them at home as it has been a while since I last made them. I was looking for an easier recipe that doesn’t involve too many steps and found Empowered Cooks video tutorial. The dough only requires 3 ingredients – self-rising four, milk, and melted butter. You don’t have to knead and proof the dough, which can save you a lot of time and energy. It’s easy, quick, and delicious. They are the perfect treats to share with your family and friends.

You can substitute self-rising flour with 1 cup of all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Make the dough. In a large bowl, add the self-rising flour, milk, and melted butter. Mix until well combined until it forms into a dough.
Make the filling. In a different bowl, add melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch. You can also add salt if you want to. Mix until well combined.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it into a rectangular shape.
Evenly spread the cinnamon roll filling on the dough, then roll lengthwise.
Using a floss or sharp serrated knife, cut the roll into 1-inch thick pieces. Squish each piece to help them stay together.
Grease your air fryer basket with oil. Place the cinnamon rolls, making sure they are well-spaced. Air fry at 350F for five to six minutes. Keep an eye on them.
Make the icing by whisking all ingredients in a bowl. Drizzle the icing on top of the cinnamon rolls. Serve and enjoy!
