This air fryer cauliflower wings recipe from Cooking with Coit is a healthy and delicious appetizer or snack. It does not contain meat, making it the perfect alternative to chicken wings. The cauliflower has a crispy crust and is tender inside. It’s easy to make with just a few simple ingredients and ready in under 30 minutes.

To make these tasty air fryer cauliflower wings, you’ll need cauliflower flour, milk, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, BBQ, and butter. Since it doesn’t require a deep fryer, it’s much healthier than chicken wings. Serve them with ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, vegetables, salads, wraps, or burgers.
Cut the cauliflower into 1 1/2″ florets.
In a large mixing bowl, add 1 cup of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder. Whisk until well combined.
Whisk in the milk and mix until there are no lumps in the batter.
Add the cauliflower florets into the batter to coat. Place on a baking sheet or plate.
Spray the air fryer basket with a light coat of olive oil, then add the coated cauliflower pieces.
Air fry at 380F for 10 to 12 minutes or until the fork tender.
While the cauliflower is cooking, prepare the BBQ sauce. In a large mixing bowl, add the BBQ sauce or hot sauce and melted butter. Whisk to combine.
Once the cauliflower pieces are done cooking, remove them from the air fryer and add them to the large mixing bowl with the BBQ sauce. Toss until all cauliflower florets are well coated. Serve right away.
