I love buffalo cauliflower and it’s an amazing alternative if you want to skip out on the hot wings. I’ve made them so many times and sometimes it’s a mind trick to your brain. This air fryer buffalo cauliflower recipe by Mindful Living A is crispy and golden perfection. It does satisfy my cravings if I want a healthier and lighter option. Air fryers are so convenient and keep you from deep frying it in loads of oil. This recipe does require a little drizzle of olive oil, but it’s just to get the crunch factor when it’s in the air fryer. If you don’t have an air fryer, I recommend getting one because it saves you from cleaning pots and pans.

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole cauliflower
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp of salted butter
  • 1/4 cup Franks Red Hot sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp of ketchup
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

First, chop up the cauliflower into bite-size pieces. Start on the batter by adding flour and water together. Then, add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to season the batter. Take each piece of cauliflower, coat them around in the batter, and place them in the air fryer basket. Make sure to have equal space between each cauliflower and drizzle olive oil on top.
