Directions:
Prepare all the needed ingredients.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 stick of softened butter, 3 tbsp of coconut oil or any flavorless oil, 3/ss oil, ¾ cup sugar, and 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract. Mix well until you get a creamy consistency, about 20 seconds.
Then, crack in 1 room temperature large eggs and ½ cup room temperature unsweetened yogurt. Mix until well incorporated. Next, sift in 1 ¾ all-purpose flour, 3 tsp baking powder, and ½ tsp salt. Mix all the ingredients until well incorporated. Add the ½ cup room temp milk and continue mixing. Butter, flour, and line with parchment paper two baking pans that would fit your air fryer basket.
Preheat the air fryer to 230F.
Place one of the baking pans in the basket and let the batter bake for about 25 minutes. Carefully remove the pan from the basket and repeat the process with the second baking pan. While the cakes are still hot, lightly brush them with milk. Remove the cake from the pan and allow it to rest completely. Remember to remove the parchment paper. Place buttercream or any frosting on top of the first cake and layer the second one.
Lastly, cover the cake with the frosting of your choice and decorate! Make sure you use some really fun designs to add some character to this delicious birthday cake.
Sing “happy birthday” and enjoy!
