This taco pie recipe by Jaime Deen is recreated by Paula Deen on YouTube for an easy recipe if you’re a taco lover. I love the idea of making a taco pie because it’s like having a lasagna, but with taco ingredients. This is a cheesy dish and all of the flavors would be locked and meshed together all in one bite. Tacos are one of my favorite foods, and this is an easy way to serve tacos instead of putting the sides in separate bowls such as the refried beans.
First, preheat the oven to 350F. In a 10-inch ovenproof skillet, cook beef over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Then drain the excess fat. Transfer to a large bowl and season it with the seasoning and enchilada sauce. Continue to watch Paula Deen’s tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.

Next, start to layer the taco pie with tortillas at the bottom of the pan. Spoon half a mixture of the ground beef, sprinkle cheese, and top with another tortilla. Spread half of the bean mixture on top, and repeat layers once with a tortilla between each layer. Bake for about 20 minutes.
Overall, this taco pie recipe looks amazing if you love tacos and it has layers of a lot of Mexican flavors. Serve this taco pie with pico de gallo, sour cream, and other taco toppings.
