Next, pour the pound cake batter into a greased tube pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Make sure to check in about 1 hour and 10 minutes just in case it is finished. Use a toothpick to check if it comes out clean. Let it cool in the pan on a wire rack for 20 minutes.
Also, you can serve the butter pound cake flipped upside down or add icing on top so it can drop into the crevices on top of the pound cake. Sometimes pound cake can get dry so it’s important to cover the cake when you’re not eating it.
