I recently made a patchwork owl and it turned out so cute. I loved it so much, that I went looking for another stuffed animal idea, and I found this DIY patchwork dog video tutorial by Pay It Forward, on YouTube, and I loved it more than the owl I made. This lovely patchwork doggie also comes with a free pattern download that is so easy to follow. This is a perfect scrap buster, I am going to make my patchwork dog from velvet scraps, that I found on junk clothing that I got at the thrift store. The doggie will be so cute in velvet, it reminds me of the Velveteen Rabbit book.
In this DIY patchwork dog video tutorial by Pay It Forward, on YouTube, you will learn to make this fabulous stuffed animal idea in a few easy steps. You begin by downloading your pattern and then cutting your fabric pieces. You can start with different parts of the dog, such as the head and ears first.
Then, you will make the dog’s body and legs, then stuff it with dacron, or your favorite cotton.
