Definitely Not Gourmet’s Mountain Dew ice cream recipe only requires 4 ingredients and the fewer ingredients means the best. All of his recipes on YouTube are unique and trendy. I love how it’s straight to the point and his videos are almost always under 5 minutes. I love watching tutorials where they can make something in little time. Not a lot of people have the patience to sit through a whole 10-minute video to create when you’re hungry. I didn’t know it was this easy to make ice cream, and it’s so inexpensive. Plus, you can get creative and add any ingredients to make your own perfect ice cream. Once you get the base down of a recipe, you can always tweak it out to other options. You can always buy ice cream in stores, but you can’t buy Mountain Dew ice cream.
First, use a cold bowl that’s been in the freezer for a couple of hours to blend your heavy whipping cream together. Then, add in a whole can of sweetened condensed milk and fold the two together.
Next, add in a can of Mountain Dew and a couple of drops of green food coloring. Transfer the ice cream in a container and freeze.
Overall, I think this is a great recipe for Mountain Dew lovers. Also, you turn this recipe to a Coca-cola ice cream or any other soda you prefer. I don’t like soda, but if I had to choose, my choice would make a strawberry Fanta ice cream. I know that probably won’t be a popular vote, but I love strawberry flavored things. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind having homemade Dr. Pepper ice cream too.
