Did you ever think we would be making masks from a sock? Turns out, it isn’t such a bad idea, a sock can make a face mask that is quite comfortable and easy to make. The mask is fairly thick, yet the weave makes it breathable and the heel makes a perfect contour that fits over the mouth. The greatest thing about this face mask is the fact that it does not need any add on pieces for the ear fasteners, you just cut little slits in the sock and those slits serve as the ear fasteners. I’m so glad I found this mask tutorial because it’s so easy and simple, even the beginner will not have any trouble pulling this little sock project off. However, the masks that you can make at home are not proven to protect against COVID 19 and I have only made them in a pinch to wear with another disposable mask. For in-depth information regarding how to protect yourself against COVID 19, please view this link from the CDC Website describing all safe practices during the COVID 19 outbreak.
