Soda fountains are so cool, so when I saw this DIY Soda Fountain idea on Youtube I had to make one with my Son. The instructions were super simple and I got everything I needed at Home Depot.

Then drill holes in the caps of your soda bottles (one large and one small) in each bottle, then feed your hoses through and attach the small hose to the air pump, you can check to see if it’s working by pressing the corresponding push button switch.

Then build your cardboard soda fountain housing as per instructions in the video tutorial and feed your hoses through the holes you’ve drilled in the cardboard and set on off push button switches and feed outer piping through.

Then you decorate the outside of your water fountain with stickers or you could paint it because there really is no right or wrong way to do this DIY as long as you make it work, the look of it is entirely up to you.

My Son and I started making this together and while I was watching the video tutorial taking notes, I turned around and my baby already was finishing it. We had so much fun with this DIY soda fountain, he took it outside and made a soda stand out of the remaining cardboard and sold his self serve drinks to the kids in the neighborhood.
