When was the last time you cleaned your Nespresso machine? If you use it daily but don’t clean it regularly, you might notice the taste becomes slightly off compared to the first time you used it. That’s because coffee residue and mineral buildup can affect the taste of your brew. It is best to clean your machine regularly to maintain its optimal performance and taste.

Clean the removable parts and the water tank with Dawn powerwash or regular blue Dawn and brush.
Wipe the outside with a damp clean towel with a bit of soap, then the inside around the pod area. Wipe it again with a clean damp towel.
Pop in the pod-like you are making coffee.
Run the coffee machine as you normally would.
Fill the water tank with water, following the instructions indicated in the packaging of the descaler. Place back to the machine.
Shut the machine and quickly press the button 3 times to run the whole entire cycle.
Remove all the removable parts and clean with Dawn dish soap and a brush.
Wipe the inside with a wet towel with dish soap to remove all the gunk and build-up dirt, then use a clean wet towel to wipe any residue.
