When was the last time you cleaned your Nespresso machine? If you use it daily but don’t clean it regularly, you might notice the taste becomes slightly off compared to the first time you used it. That’s because coffee residue and mineral buildup can affect the taste of your brew. It is best to clean your machine regularly to maintain its optimal performance and taste.

Step 3:

Hit the buttons three times really quick and then let it run. It will take 5 minutes to run three full cycles.

Step 4:

Fill the tank again with water and run it through again just so that you don’t have a vinegary sour taste coffee.

Step 5:

Clean the removable parts and the water tank with Dawn powerwash or regular blue Dawn and brush.

Step 6:

Wipe the outside with a damp clean towel with a bit of soap, then the inside around the pod area. Wipe it again with a clean damp towel.

Method 2 – Using Nespresso pod cleaning kit

Step 1:

Pop in the pod-like you are making coffee.

Step 5:

Remove all the removable parts and clean with Dawn dish soap and a brush.

Step 6:

Wipe the inside with a wet towel with dish soap to remove all the gunk and build-up dirt, then use a clean wet towel to wipe any residue.
