Start by preheating your oven to 375F. Place a cast iron skillet over medium-low heat and melt the butter. Once melted, add green onions and saute until fragrant for about 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat then remove the skillet. Add the cream cheese and sour cream and stir until smooth.
Add artichokes, drained spinach, shredded parmesan, half of the mozzarella, minced garlic, and hot sauce into the mixture. Stir to combine, then season with salt and pepper.
Spread the mixture evenly in the skillet, then sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
Place it inside the preheated oven then bake uncovered for 20 minutes. To make the top golden, broil it for 2 minutes until the cheese is brown. Let it cool slightly then garnish with green onion. Serve it with chips or toast.
