Step 1

Get two of the main strips, then stack them with their right sides facing, and stitch them along the length with ¼ inch seam allowance. Add another strip with their right sides facing and edges matching, then stitch them in place, and do the same with the rest of the main strips.

Step 2

When they’re all sewn together, press the seams to one side, and trim off the bottom to even the edges out. Attach the white strips to the sides one at a time with ¼ inch seam allowance, and press the seams nicely.

Step 3

Lay the fleece on a flat surface, then place the quilt top of the fleece with its right side down, and smooth them out. Pin or clip all the way around, then start stitching from the edge of the quilt top with ¼ inch seam allowance, and make sure to leave a space for turning, it should be wide enough for your hand to fit through.

Step 4

Trim the excess fleece, then turn the entire piece on the right side out and tuck the edges of the opening. Press the tucked edges of the quilt top on a low heat setting but make sure not to include the fleece, then topstitch all the way around, and quilt however you want.
