Ingredients for Baked Artichoke Hearts:

  • ¼ cup of olive oil
  • 3 (14 oz) cans of artichoke, rinsed and drained
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp of crushed red pepper flakes

Seasoned Breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup of plain breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup of Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
  • ¼ cup of parsley, minced
  • 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp of kosher salt
  • ¼ cup of dry white wine, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, etc.

How to Make Baked Artichoke Hearts:

Step 1

In a bowl, add the breadcrumbs, salt, Parmigiano Reggiano, parsley, lemon juice, and white wine, then stir everything until incorporated, and set the mixture aside.

Step 2

In a separate small bowl, add the garlic, oil, and crushed red pepper flakes, then stir them until well combined, and set the mixture aside.

Step 3

Prepare the artichoke hearts, then pour some garlic oil into a baking dish spreading it evenly, and place the artichoke hearts in a single layer as shown in the video.

Step 4

Pour the remaining garlic oil over the artichoke layer, then add the seasoned breadcrumbs on top until nicely covered, and place it in an oven preheated at 375°F. Allow it to bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, then serve, and enjoy!
