  • 1 pound of medium ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1 small red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 can of tomato soup
  • ½ cup of beef broth
  • 2 cups of macaroni noodles
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of ground black pepper
  • 1½ tsp of Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1½ cups of old cheddar cheese

How to Make Hillbilly Goulash in 30 Minutes:

Step 1

Place a pan on a stove over medium-high heat, then add the beef, break it apart, and cook it until nice and brown.

Step 2

Push the meat to one side, then saute the onion on the other, add the garlic and bell peppers, and continue to saute for a few more minutes until fragrant.

Step 3

Mix everything to combine, then pour in the tomatoes, soup, and beef broth, and season them with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Step 4

Stir them to combine, then let the mixture simmer for at least 10 minutes or more, add the noodles, and cover the pan with the lid.

Step 5

Allow it to simmer for an additional 12 minutes or until the noodles are cooked, then sprinkle the cheese over the top, and keep stirring until combined. Serve and enjoy!
