Orange chicken is one of my favorite dishes to order for takeout and now I can have it anytime I want with the help of this recipe by Smokin’ & Grillin with AB on YouTube. this dish has the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory, and I’m sure you will enjoy eating this up to the last bite.

This is also a very convenient dish to make when you don’t have much time to prepare food or you simply want something that’s effortless to cook. You can serve this with some rice or noodles, or eat them as is, whatever it is that you choose, one thing’s for sure, this will be your new go-to recipe for lunch or dinner.
Step 1
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, then put them in a large bowl, and add in the cornstarch. Give them a good toss until nicely coated and set them aside, then place a large skillet on a stove over medium-high heat, and heat the oil. Add the coated chicken pieces, then sear both sides until golden brown and crispy, and then transfer them to the crockpot.
Step 2
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the orange marmalade, low-sodium soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, ground ginger, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds, then whisk them together until incorporated, and pour the sauce over the chicken in the crockpot.
Step 3
Stir everything together until fully coated, then cover the crockpot with the lid, and cook the chicken on a low setting for about 3 hours, make sure to check halfway through the cooking time to make sure nothing’s sticking or burning. Once the chicken is cooked through and tender, garnish it with some chopped green onions and sesame seeds, then serve, and enjoy!
