To make this bubble pizza casserole, you will need buttermilk canned biscuits, your favorite pizza sauce, and shredded mozzarella cheese. If you want it to be extra cheesy, add more cheese, like cheddar, provolone, parmesan, or gruyere. You can also add Italian seasonings, herbs, and spices to give it more flavor. Start by separating the biscuits and placing them on your chopping board. Cut each biscuit into 6 equal pieces just like in the photo below. Place them in a bowl.
Add 15 oz of pizza sauce and mix until well combined. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish. Place it inside the oven and bake at 375F for 20 to 25 minutes.
Once done baking, remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Spread it evenly.
Place the casserole dish back in the oven and bake at 375F for about 3 to 5 minutes until the mozzarella cheese is melted.
Once done baking, remove it from the oven, and let it cool for a few minutes. Slice into squares, serve, and enjoy!
