I love grilling food and making BBQ ribs, but when I want to make them more conveniently and easily, I always opt for an air fryer method. What I love about this is that I can still enjoy BBQ ribs with similar deliciousness and they can still manage to be tender and juicy without having to set up the whole grill.

Step 1

In a small bowl, mix the salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, ground coriander, and dried rosemary until uniform, then set the rub seasoning aside for later. Peel off the silverskin from the back of the ribs, then cut the rack into 2 to 3 sections, and pat them dry.

Step 2

Coat them with oil, then rub the seasoning mixture on both sides evenly, and set them aside. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F for about 3 minutes, then place the seasoned ribs in the air fryer basket with the meat side down, and let them cook for 15 minutes.

Step 3

Flip the ribs over and continue to cook them for an additional 10 minutes, then while waiting prepare the BBQ sauce. Place a saucepan on a stove over medium-low heat, then add the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, ground cumin, salt, and upper, and heat them while stirring until the sugar and salt have completely dissolved.

Step 4

Remove the meat from the air fryer, then generously brush it with the prepared BBQ sauce on all sides, and put them back in the air fryer to cook for 2 to 3 more minutes at 400°F or until the sauce has set and slightly darkened. Once done cooking, remove the ribs from the air fryer, then let them rest for about around 5 minutes, and serve. Enjoy!
