Fill two ice cube trays with Mountain Dew soda.
Place the ice cube trays in the freezer and let them freeze for about 6 hours. Cover the soda bottle and place it in the refrigerator. You want it to be nice and cold.
Add 1 1/2 cups of cold Mountain Dew and 1 cup of sugar to a medium bowl. Mix until the sugar dissolves using a spoon.
Add 3 to 4 cups of ice cubes in a blender, followed by the soda-sugar mixture. Scrape out all the leftover sugar. Place the lid and puree the ice cubes.
Transfer to your glass. Serve and enjoy!
