Sometimes, when we have leftover ham, bacon, or sausage for breakfast, I cut them into pieces and add them to the filling for some meat. They make these cheese twists even better. If you don’t like meat, you can add finely diced vegetables for some added texture and taste. You can also add both if you prefer. Customize them to your liking. Enjoy them as is or serve them with your favorite dip.

Preheat your oven to 400F.
In a bowl, add 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, 1 teaspoon of oregano, 2 teaspoons of crushed garlic, and 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
Get a sheet of puff pastry and lay on your work surface. Brush it with egg wash.
Add half of the cheese mix on one side of the puff pastry. Spread well. Fold it in half, then brush it again with egg wash. Add the rest of the cheese on top and gently press. Cut it into 0.4-inch strips.
Twist each strip of puff pastry, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are spaced well.
Brush each one with the egg wash.
Place in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
