I have also been discovering different recipes from the simplest to the most unique ones, and one of them is this Cheetos-coated mozzarella cheese by Eat with Hank on YouTube. If you’re willing to try something new and tasty today, then check out the video tutorial below to learn the recipe.
Step 1
Remove the mozzarella sticks from the packaging, then crush the Cheetos into fine crumbs, you can use your hand, a rolling pin, a similar object, or a food processor or blender. Using a food processor would give better results and finer crumbs, once done, put the Cheetos crumbs in a shallow bowl or plate.
Step 2
Prepare another bowl with beaten eggs in it and the other with flour, then dredge the mozzarella stick in the flour coating it well, and lightly shake off the excess. Use your other hand and dip it to the egg, then with your other hand bring it over to the Cheetos crumbs, and coat it well.
Step 3
Dip the mozzarella stick in egg once more, then coat it with Cheetos crumbs, and place it on a plate. Repeat the same steps with the remaining mozzarella sticks, then place them in the freezer, and let them freeze for about 30 minutes to set.
Step 4
Once ready to cook, preheat your air fryer, then grease the basket with nonstick cooking spray, and lightly grease the mozzarella sticks as well. Place them in the air fryer basket spacing them evenly, then set the air fryer to 390°F, and let them cook for about 4 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
