If you want it to be more festive or you have a specific design in mind, then you’re more than welcome to let your creativity take over and make your own version of this wreath. Learn the steps written below now and watch the video tutorial for more details.
Step 1
Pull apart the clothespins and remove the metal part, then coat them with paint completely on all sides, and allow them to dry for about 30 minutes before adding a second coat of paint if desired.
Step 2
Once the paint has dried, put the clothespins back together, then repeat the process until you have a total of 14 pieces of blue, 18 pieces of white, and 21 pieces of red clothespins. You might need more or less depending on the size of the hoop you want to use.
Step 3
Unscrew the two pieces of hoop and pull out the inner circle, then set it aside, and attach the blue clothespin to the center part. Continue adding the rest of the clothespins in a pattern demonstrated in the video, make sure to place them close together.
Step 4
Stick the foam stars onto the blue portion of the wreath, then dab some glue along the one side of the hoop you pulled out earlier, attach it back to the wreath, and allow it to dry completely.
