These bars are incredibly tasty and nutritious, but they are also incredibly easy to make. With just a few basic ingredients and some simple steps, you can whip up a batch of cereal bars that are perfect for breakfast on the run, a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, or a post-workout refuel. Plus, they store well, meaning you can make a large batch ahead of time and have a healthy snack ready whenever you need it. Watch the video below to learn the step by step instructions on how to make them.
Grease an 8″ baking tray with butter and line it with parchment paper. Set aside. Next, in a saucepan over medium heat, add 1/2 cup of honey and 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp peanut butter. Stir them together for two to three minutes until melted and combined. Once done, remove from heat. Next, add 3 cups of unsweetened cereal of your choice and stir until well combined.
After mixing, transfer the mixture to the prepared baking tray. Spread it nicely and evenly, pressing it firmly. Once done, place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour or until it sets. Cut it into squares before serving.
