Lemon-flavored desserts are so good and one of the best things ever, and I’d love to eat them every day if I can, from beverages to cakes! Recently, I’ve been going crazy about lemon pound cakes, I’ve already tried making them a couple of times, and they always turn out so delicious.

Step 1
Add the eggs, sugar, and lemon zest in a large bowl, then beat them over medium speed until light and combined, and add in the oil while still mixing continuously until incorporated. Add the lemon juice while still mixing, then sift over the flour, and add the vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt.
Step 2
Whisk them well until combined, then pour in the milk, and give them another whisk until fully combined. Switch to a spatula, then give the mixture a final mix scraping the sides well, and pour it in a greased loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
Step 3
Spread the batter evenly, then place it in a preheated oven at 350°F, and allow it to bake for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean. Whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth and combined, then pour it over the baked cake, and serve. Enjoy!
