Ingredients:

  • 26 0z frozen meatballs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp crushed rep pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp cold water

Directions:

Step 1

Add 1/2 cup honey, 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1/2 tsp ground ginger, and 1/4 tsp crushed rep pepper flakes in a small bowl and whisk to combine. Add the meatballs to the slow cooker, then pour the sauce over. Mix well, making sure the meatballs are properly coated. Cover the slow cooker with its lid, set it on low, and cook for four to six hours (or set it on high and cook for two to three hours).

Step 2

Combine 2 tbsp cornstarch and 2 tbsp cold water to make a slurry and add it to the slow cooker. Continue to cook for another 30 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Once the sauce thickens, give it a final stir, and then garnish with some sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve and enjoy!
