Fruit Base
Crisp Topping:
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F or 175°C, then grease your baking dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray, and set it aside. Remove the top and base of the pineapple, then trim off the skin, and remove the core as well.
Step 2
Cut the pineapple into chunks, then transfer them to a large mixing bowl, and add in the cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of brown sugar as well. Give them a good mix until evenly combined and coated, then transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, and set it aside.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, add the remaining brown sugar, flour, oats, and butter, then mix everything well until crumbly texture, and top the pineapple evenly with the crumbly mixture.
Step 4
Place it in the preheated oven, then allow it to bake for about 40 to 45 minutes or until the top is lightly golden brown and the edges are bubbly. Once done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly, then serve, and enjoy!
