I always wondered why a lot of people love eating tuna melts. Now I get why it is so popular. I made this best air fryer tuna melt sandwich recipe by All Wings Everything, and it surely did not disappoint. I love tuna sandwiches, but after trying this one, I will never go back to the plain ones. The cheese has definitely leveled up the flavor and made this sandwich so much better.

Making this tuna melt sandwich is easier than you think. You just have to mix all the ingredients in a bowl, spread butter onto your bread, assemble the sandwich, then it is ready to go in the air fryer. How easy is that? It’s one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever made.
I love waking up early just to make this sandwich at home. It’s cheesy, creamy, and savory – definitely worth the try. For more sandwich recipes, try Ham Cheese French Toast Sandwich or this Monte Cristo Sandwich Recipe.
For assembling
Add the tuna in a bowl, followed by celery, seasoned salt, parsley, pickles, onion, Dijon mustard, mayo, and lemon juice. Mix everything until well combined.
Preheat your air fryer to 380F.
Spread butter into each slice of bread.
Place one slice of bread into your air fryer butter side down. Add the cheddar cheese and spread the tuna mixture all the way to the edges. Next, add provolone cheese, onion rings (optional), tomato slices, and top with the another bread, butter side up. Repeat the process to make the other sandwich.
Cook in the preheated air fryer for 8 minutes, flipping it halfway through. Slice and serve. Enjoy!
