This hearty fried rice is so yummy and is good to eat as is, but if you want to serve it with your favorite dish on the side, then expect an ultimately delicious mealtime. This is very easy and quick to make, too, which makes it perfect for busy people or busy days. Learn the steps to making this dish by reading the instructions below.
Step 1
Place a skillet on a stove over medium-low heat, add the peanut oil, and heat it before adding the beaten egg. Remove the cooked egg and set it aside, add the sausage slices to the same pan, and stir-fry it for 5 minutes before setting it aside on a bowl or plate.
Step 2
In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt, then add the shrimp, and cook them for 3 minutes per side before setting them aside. Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter to the pan, then add the onions, celery, and bell pepper, and saute them for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Now, add the peas with the garlic and ginger, then saute them for 3 minutes before adding the rice, and then put the cooked shrimp, sausage, and egg back into the pan. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and cajun seasoning, then mix everything until well combined, and simmer them for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally. Serve and enjoy!
