Whenever I’m craving chocolate cake but I don’t want to buy from the store, I always make them at home, I just feel like they are tastier and I can have more servings that way. Contrary to what others believe, you can make a cake with just 3 simple ingredients which most of you might already have in your kitchen. If you don’t believe me, then check out this video tutorial by Emma’s Goodies on YouTube, and see for yourself.
Step 1
Add the cookies to a food processor, then pulse them until fine crumbs, and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Sift over the baking powder, then roughly stir them to combine, and pour in the warm milk. Fold and mix them until fully combined and smooth, you can also use an immersion blender to speed up the process until the batter is smooth. You can also boost the flavor by adding some cocoa powder or chocolate chips, or frost the cake instead.
Step 2
Once the batter is ready, transfer it to a cake pan lined with parchment paper and greased with butter or nonstick cooking spray. Place the cake in a preheated oven at 170° or 340°F, then allow it to bake for about 15 minutes, and let it cool for 3 minutes. Turn it over and unmold the cake, then peel off the paper, and frost it with some Nutella, or make your own frosting if you want. Serve and enjoy!
